Dr. Annelies Wentzel

Hi! I am Annelies (or Anna) and I proudly call Kelowna home. I hold a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from UBC-O, and earned my Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic, in San Jose, CA.

I have over six years of experience working at EverAthlete Performance, a clinic-gym hybrid in California. My experience also includes a residency position at a Veterans Affairs hospital in Martinez, CA, along with practicing in state of the art Corporate Wellness Centers, including Apple Inc.

Being active and playing sports have been an interest and focus of mine for as long as I can remember. Bottom line – I value my health and make it a priority. I consistently work on this by getting outside for a hike or trail run (with the P.A.C.E. community), staying strong by lifting weights in the gym (ideally at REC!), spending time with my cherished family & friends, and fueling myself with the most delicious Okanagan grown goodies.

Dr. Ben Whiles

Hey there! My name is Ben and I am Okanagan born and raised. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology & Health Science from UBC Vancouver, and earned my Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic, in San Jose, California. With over four years of private practice experience, including corporate wellness care at Apple Inc., and a residency position at two Veterans Affairs hospitals in Palo Alto and San Jose, I bring a diverse range of professional expertise to my work.

A former university lacrosse player and varsity rower – I now spend most of my free time on the golf course, in the gym or in the mountains hiking/backpacking and skiing.

Alisa Mellows

Hello! I’m Alisa and I graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in November 2022. I have a business degree from Okanagan College and a background in accounting (both private and public practice). It was a huge pivot when I decided to pursue massage and I’ve never looked back!

I like to think that in a past or alternate life, I would have run away with the circus. I have a deep love for all aerials and pole, but everything from handstands to contortion fascinates me! This was a major factor in deciding to pursue massage therapy: to learn how our incredible bodies work and how to keep them healthy and strong!

I discovered my love for fitness as an adult and it has become an essential part of my life. It all started with dance! Now strength and flexibility training are my standards but I love trying different fitness regimes/classes like pilates, CrossFit, aerials, running etc.

My practice has a wide range from injury preventative care to pain management. I offer head and facial massage, which can be beneficial for headache management, as well as focused treatments or full body treatments. I will always try to provide a safe and judgement free space for every person. All different backgrounds, LGBTQIA+ folks, and SWers are welcome.
